payment options

currently set up to bill a credit card monthly.  Is there a way we can pay this subscription on a monthy basis or annual basis by check rather than it charging a credit card monthly?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

By default, Atlassian bills monthly subscriptions automatically via credit card. This is the standard setup for Jira Cloud plans (Standard, Premium, or Enterprise).
Atlassian does not accept check payments for monthly subscriptions. However, they do accept checks or wire transfers for annual subscriptions only.
So you should switch to an annual subscription in order to pay by check.

You can only pay monthly Jira Cloud subscriptions by credit card or PayPal—check payment is NOT supported for monthly cycles. If you want to pay by check or bank transfer, you need to switch to an annual subscription, which allows payment by check, bank transfer, or credit card.
