hi there:

I've installed the open audit community and registered an Atlassian account. I want to ask a few questions on opmantek community wiki, but it keeps telling me that I have to request an account from my Jira administrator, what should I do?

the message is showed as below, thanks in advance

This is what it says it is - your account is not registered for access to this wiki, and you'll need one of the administrators of the site to get you added.

However, I took a quick look at https://community.opmantek.com and a couple of things jumped out at me.

  1. They're using a Server based Confluence, which you would not access with an Atlassian account, so I'm not sure why you've gone and got one (other than maybe to post here, as Community does use Atlassian accounts for access)
  2. They've got Q&A in the middle of their page with an "ask a question" link - this seems to be openly usable and did not ask me to log in.

So I'm thinking you might actually be in the wrong place when you're getting this login prompt.

hi Nic:

brilliant!  I never noticed that since I am new to this software. I think it's easy for me to ask questions now, thanks a lot!
