Hello,

Could you please advise if there's any way i can configure sending notifications at an event level from Jira to several users?

We have a dashboard and within that we have several event with several statuses for approval levels. and i need to know if the users can receive an alert/notification when a specific approval has been received

Regards,

Laura

HI @Laura-Gabriela Constantin

Welcome to the community!

To send the notification in Jira, first of all, you need to configure an SMTP mail server and for this, you need a System admin rights.

Yes, you can be able to send a notification on event-based, First, you need to add your own event like Issue Created, updated to jira and then need to add this event to Notification scheme and add the appropriate users into the notification scheme.

Once done this associate this notification scheme to the respective project and edit the workflow of this project and then add the event on the respective workflow transition post function so that whenever the transition will happen then it will send a notification to that particular user.
