notification sent from e-mail address

Hi there, is there any possibility to change the e-mail address, the auto notifications are sent from? Just like in outlook there is an option to define an e-mail address that displays like the "sent from" e-mail address, even if the notification is sent through jira@company.atlassian.net . 

I want recipients to get notifications from an e-mail address like jira@mycompany.com

any idea?

Hi Thomas - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I don't think you are going to be able to do that. But you can go to Settings > System > General Configuration

If you edit the Configuration you will see the message for Email Notifications > Email From:

"Specifies the From: header format in notification emails. Available variables are ${fullname}, ${email} and ${email.hostname}
Default value is ${fullname} (Jira), evaluating to eg. "From: John Doe (Jira) <jira@company.com>". The actual address (jira@company.com) cannot be specified here - it is determined by the mail server or individual project."
