1. We are trying to Figure out a way for our team to get notifications when a new task shows on the (DP/SP team) Open items board. 

2. Filtered to show any task that is assigned to (DP/SP Integration team) that is Unassigned.

My first thought would be to turn to automation for this. But without understanding fully what it means for an issue to appear on your board I can’t say for sure how to implement that. For example if an item shows up on your board when it’s in the Open status then you could trigger on a transition and a condition checking to see if you’re in the Open status and then send out a notification.

So we wanted to know if there was a way for unassigned tasks can be filtered automatically to the PM who will be tasked based on the projects? Instead of someone going through the unassigned tasks and letting others know who is doing what.

what about having the PM be the Project lead and setting them as the default assignee. When an issue is created if the Assignee is left blank then the PL will be set as Assignee.
