Hi all, over the weekend we have had 'anonymous' create a very rude and nasty helpdesk ticket. We've got it set up so that if someone emails helpdesk@mycompany.com it creates an issue and then sends an email to IT staff from the helpdesk email address.
I can see in exchange server that jira sent the email to the staff member, but I can't see anywhere in any logs the initial email that created the issue in the first place (so the anonymous user emailing helpdesk).
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Dave.
Hi @Dave Giles ,
Please login to email "helpdesk@mycompany.com" and check once when you got the email, there you will be able to see from whom it got the email. This may be helpful to verify from whom you got an email.
Regards,
Kishore Kumar Gangavath.
Thanks for the suggestion Kishore, unfortunately when I logged in, that inbox is empty!
