We've used Jira v7.3.6 until a year ago. When trying to resume using I found that it reached end of life. While trying to upgrade it I found that our maintenance license is expired. While trying to renew it I got the error "Your account is not associated with any products".

While I could just buy another license, I don't want to lose our settings, permissions, and history. Anyone has a recipe for that?

TIA,

Mario

Hello Mario,

On JIRA Server, all your data, settings, permissions and history are hosted on your own Server, differently from Cloud where your data is stored on an Atlassian domain.

The maintenance license expiration does not remove/delete your JIRA Application or any data related to it, as you can see in the documentation below:

Support FAQ

That been said, I believe that maybe your user has been removed from your JIRA Application by a JIRA administrator on your site or your JIRA site was deactivated, that's what causing the error "Your account is not associated with any products".

I recommend you to contact the previous billing contact or JIRA Administrator of your JIRA Server or open a ticket with our CA team in order to identify which user can be contacted to check it for you:

Let me know if this information helps, Mario.
