Its possible to activate more than 3 level of JIRA hierarchy?

Hi @Kay Multhaupt,

Out of the Box it is not possible.

You can use Issue links to link the issues, but there is no visualisation of or automation like with the build in hierarchy.

Or you can use add-ons for this. With Structure for example you can create hierarchies of higher depths.

Thanks, @Bastian Stehmann.

@Kay Multhaupt, Bastian is correct. Structure for Jira is one of the most popular Jira apps for adding this sort of capability to Jira.

You can find additional info. and resources about Structure on the Atlassian Marketplace and/or reach out to us if you have questions.

Another product you may want to consider is BigPicture from SoftwarePlant.

@Kay Multhaupt @Dave Rosenlund _Trundl_ @Bastian Stehmann

I am looking to create below hierarchy in Jira: Is this doable

Original Poster Scenario:

EPIC ->Main Feature >Feature>US>Task.

My Scenario:

Program P1 -> Project (1,2,3,....n)-> Features in Project (1,2,3,....n) -> User Story (1,2,3,...n) -> Task (1,2,3,....n)

Is this doable in Jira?

My motive is to be able to go down to the User Story level from the Kanban that I create for my 'Program P1'

Thank You!

Best,

Arti
