mergint two instance

In our company we do use Jira Software in a cloud. One of the new collegue has its own Jira Software and we would like to merge those two, so that everyone in a company has access to both. All that I have read it that it is hard, or that some data would be lost. Can someone explain me how to do this?

It isn’t necessarily hard but it can be tedious. How much so really depends on how many projects and unique workflows, schemes, etc. Attachments are not easy. Here are some articles on migration that would be worth reading - https://confluence.atlassian.com/search/?query=Migrating%20to%20cloud
