limit the choice of users from an event

Hello,

i am loooking for a possibility to limit the choice of users, if the event is assign to someone.

At the moment i can choose every user in this project but I want, that the user-group a can only assign a event to group a and b but not to group c.

How can i configure this?

Go to the permission scheme and look at the two rules that handle this:

• Assignable user: says who can be assigned to an issue
• Assign issues: says who can set the assignee

In your case, you want groups A and B in assignable, and just group A in assign

Ok and it is possible, if every user got this two rules?

E.g.:

group a,b,c has the permission to assign issues and are assignable users

group a can only assign issues to group b not to group c

group c can only assign issues to group b not to group a

group b can assign issues to every user-group a,b,c

No, you can't do that in JIRA - the assignee list is "valid assignees", not "a list of people that varies by who the assigner is"
