I have a jira team managed project and i cant see Subtask Blocking Condition.

How to prevent issues from being closed while the sub-tasks are still open in jira ?

This is not possible within team managed project.

This can only be achieved in a company managed project, company managed projects are the same as the projects in server or data center.

I can offer an example workaround based upon an automation in a team managed project.

You can do this in a lot of more ways, I just choose to force the sub-task parent ticket back into In Progress
