jira-migration from server to server

Hi am srinivasa we have jira software running in production we are using AWS server, we configured jira software and mysql databases in different servers. we have this software is running in oregon region so currently we are planning to move this services from oregon to north verginia we are planning to take ami of the instance and we are creating in new region i created and started jira software but it is saying that database is down but its already have dbconfig file its have info of old database so how can i migrate this config please help me for this

Moving an AMI from one machine to another is quite a good approach to this.

But the error is what it says it is - the new machine cannot reach the old database.  You'll need to either open up a route to the old database, or create a new database somewhere the new machine can see it, from a backup of the old one, and edit the dbconfig to tell the new server where to reach the new database.

Thanks for your replay and also i have one more issue we have ldap server it is providing authorization i taken that ami also but how can i change the ldap config in jira server
