I manage a chapter with designers allocated on several development teams.
What I want to do is to create a Design board that automatically reflects every task that is moved to the UX column on every single board to this board so I can visualize the tasks that are assigned to every design, as well as their progress, without forcing them to manually replicate them on two different boards.
Is that possible? If so, how? And can I keep track of the board of origin of each task (eg. a tag)?
Hello Diogo,
Welcome to Atlassian Community.
I understand that you would like to have a single board that replicates the updates from other multiple boards, moving the issues through the columns when the issues are transitioned to a different status. Is it correct?
You can perform the following steps:
1 - Navigate to your main Board > board settings > Edit filter query
2 - Configure your board to return the issues that the other boards are also returning. Basically, configure your filter to include the same results that the other boards are also returning
3 - Navigate back to your main Board > board settings > Columns
4 - Note that all the same statuses returning in the other boards are returned all together in this single board
5 - Configure the same columns you have in the other boards with the same statuses from the other boards
Performing the steps above, you will have a single board with all the columns, issues and status from other boards, which will be updated as soon as the issues are transitioned to different statuses.
Let me know if this is the feature you are looking for. If I have misunderstood you, please provide us one more example of the functionality you are trying to achieve.
Hi, Peter!
Thank you very much! Will try as soon as possible and come back to you!
Thanks!
