When i plug in my yubikey in the usb-c connection on my PC and go to 'manage passkeys' in id.atlassian.com i get error messages.

I use ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS, latest google chrome (144. ...)

Hello @Robert Los

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

What steps are you executing within Manage Passkeys and what errors are you getting?

Hi Trudy,

thanks for reaching out. I go to https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/passkeys inserted my yubi-key and tried to register. This gave an error message. However when trying again just yet, it miraculously work and i have registered my key. :-)

Can i also use my android phone as a passkey?

As per the documentation:

https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/access-your-atlassian-account-with-a-passkey/

You can add multiple passkeys to your account. You will be able to authenticate with any of these passkeys.

So, you should be able to use both the Yubikey and your Android device as passkeys for your Atlassian account. I have not actually set that up, so do so at your own risk. Or contact Atlassian Technical Support for assistance.
