Hello @Muhammad DatiaRifqi

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Your post tags indicate you are using Jira Cloud. That article says it is for Jira Data Center, so it is not a good reference for you.

The next question is what type of Space (project) does this concern? In the navigation panel on the left click on the ... button next to the name and tell us what the last two lines say; i.e.

The Story points field will be available only for Company-managed Software spaces.

Next, please provide a screen image of what you are actually seeing in your rule. That will enable us to give you better advice.

Lastly I recommend you reference this great article from @Bill Sheboy that covers the topic of summing fields between parent and child issues for some additional things to consider in your efforts..

Hello @Muhammad DatiaRifqi

What did both lines in the pop-up say? You have told us about only one line - Team-managed. What was the other line? Business space, Software space, or Service space?

I suspect that part of the problem is that with a Team-managed project the field used for story points is "Story points estimate". You have selected that in the trigger. You would also need to select that in the Edit issue action.

Hello @Muhammad DatiaRifqi

Please provide screen images that show:

1. Your entire automation rule - all the steps in the rule

2. The details of each step in the rule.

3. All the details from the rule execution audit log for a time when the rule executed. Click all of the ">" characters in the log entry for that execution so that all details are revealed.

4. The parent item, showing the field you are trying to update with your rule.

5. The child items, showing the field you are using as the basis for the update.

We won't be able to help you debug your issue without that information.
