i cant add reviewer to my jira ticket

I have tried populating the reviewer field, but i am unable to add any of my team mates name.

If you start typing, can you see any name at all (not just your team mates)?

Is this a new project or workflow? Were you able to see anyone before?

Could be in the workflow or the setting of the field "Reviewer".

I am a new joinee in the team. Even though I start typing I don't see any names to select from whereas my other team members can view all the options easily.
