html syntax in the description of fields target start and target end date

We are upgrading to Jira SW 8.13.5
Before (8.5.8) we could add descriptions with html code like:
<a href="https://jira/projects/TLNREL" Target="new">List of Releases</a>
This has changed now and you need to use syntax like:
"[Atlassian|http://atlassian.com]"
So for the most custom fields we can change this.
But what about the Target start and end date from portfolio?
They are locked, how can we update those?
On Jira SW 8.5.8 this isn't the case:
