how to manage many values in "FixVersion" field?

Hello,

My issue is : 

Example : I have a bug ticket that was planned to be fixed in 2.3(Fix Version). Afterwards, we realized that this ticket was not corrected in 2.3 and it will be planned on 2.4. 

So, in my bug ticket, you will find : Fix Version = 2.3 and 2.4

My problem is that I want to keep tracking the fix version of that ticket at the same time I don't want to have many values in "Fix Version" field. 

So, is there any solution to keep tracking the fix version of this ticket and have only one value in that field (2.4 instead of "2.3 and 2.4" in my example)?

Hi @Meryam_assali One possible solution is to modify your workflow and add "Field has single value validator" and choose fix version from the field list. This would be helpful if you are creating an issue (create transition ) or transitioning an issue from one status to another.

For editing an issue, you might have to try using the ScriptRunner plugin.
