this Forum is outdated it seems, it's no longer showing that it says. Please can you help on suggesting how to locate the Project ID in Jira Software Cloud

If you click on Project Settings (you will need to be a Project Administrator), the project ID (pid) will be in the URL..

for me, the id does not appear. Do I have to have purchased GUARD to get the ID?
