@abhinav.rastogi

I just figured this out, myself. Lucky for you I'm a TW so a full walkthrough is below.

There are no Gadgets/Widgets specifically for closed jiras, but you can kludge one in by creating a custom filter.

First you need to create a filter.

  1. From the top ribbon, navigate to Issues > Search for Issues
  2. In the search field, enter the following JQL:
assignee = currentUser() AND Condition = closed
All of your closed Jiras will be listed, and a Save As button will show at the top of the screen
  3. Select Save as
The Save filter dialog box will open
  4. Enter a name for your filter (eg. Closed Jiras), and select Save

You can make all kinds of custom filters this way, but best to start with just one.

Now to create your table.

  1. Navigate to Dashboards > Mine
  2. Select Add gadget
The Add a gadget dialog will open
(From here, different Jira admin will set things up differently, but you will probably also need to select Load all gadgets)
  3. Enter the term "filter" into the search field
All gadgets that can use custom filters will appear.
  4. Select the gadget type you want to use (probably a table)
The display that you've screenshot above will open
  5. From the Saved Filter drop-down menu, select your custom Closed Jiras filter
  6. (Optional) From the Add field to the list above by selecting them drop-down menu, add any additional columns you wish to display.
For example; Resolved displays when the date that the Jira was closed
  7. Select Save to complete your Gadget

The main issue here is that Gadgets need custom filters, and custom filters are made on a different screen, and not the one you would intuitively assume it would be. However, by placing it on the search screen, it does let you test the filter. You can also boolean in some ANDs and ORs and get a more complex filter, but this is a good start.

I just spent an hour yelling at my monitor trying to figure this out and figured I'd spare anyone else the same fate.

Hi @abhinav.rastogi

You can create a filter with all issues that are closed and then user Filter results gadget (if you want to have a list of closed tickets) or Two Dimensional Filter Statistics/Issue statistic/Pie chart (if you want to have a number).

What details are you wanting?

@abhinav.rastogi based on screen I see that you are not using any filter. As I mentioned - you need to create filter with closed issues and use it in the gadget.
