How to add a user to a project to see the updates? I need my manager to track a project.

[For below, you are required to have Project admin permission]
If you're not already in your project, select the Projects menu and locate your project.
Next to your project's name in the sidebar, select More actions (•••), then Project settings.
Select People, then Add people
Select Add people
Search for users to be added
You can add multiple people and groups.

For above, do check what the permission are based on users and roles & group by checking the Permission scheme associated with project.
Once you've added, you may go ahead and create a board/dashboard to view project/users status:
Tickets assigned to users for Project ABC
Closed vs resolved (with/without assignments)

I needed to add notifications and get an email on every action of the Kira of the a specific project to certain emails.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

Select Add people
Search for your manager (you may need to use their email)
Select the appropriate role and select Add
