What applications are you looking to install? Confluence? Jira?....

Please elaborate little bit.

Hi @Tinker Fadoua

thx for your reply , here is the situation :

I installed Jira Software 8.13.3 , and I try to add jira-service-desk as add-on so I download the corresponding version (4.13.3)from here

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1213632/jira-service-desk/version-history.

and once I click the upload button, it just flash back . what should I do , How can I check the problems ?

You should download something like the following:

atlassian-servicedesk-4.13.3-x64.bin

Please follow the steps on this link to install JSD:

Ah, hang on, the installation method matters here.

  • The .bin files are installers, they should be run on a server to create a new installation, or to upgrade an existing one
  • .obr files are for adding or upgrading applications to an existing, running installation (some apps are built as .obr files as well, although most are .jar files)

The screenshot shows a "manage applications" screen that does not seem to have access to the internet, so the upload should be of a an obr or jar file.  It's not showing a command line installation/upgrade for which you'd use a .bin file.
