i have created a new issue type for our support team, with its own fields and workflows, how would i then add this new issue to a specific list of projects and have it still have its own fields and screens and workflows without affect the existing projects settings?

Hi @Vadim Gantman

You will need to do the following:

  1. Add the new issue type to all the used issue type schemes on the projects you want use the issue type
  2. Add the used screen scheme to the issue type screen schemes used by the projects you want to add the issue type
  3. Add the workflow of the issue type to the workflow schemes used by the projects you want to add the issue type

Hello @Vadim Gantman

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

You can refer to this document https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/associate-issue-types-with-projects/ which outlines the steps in detail.

I hope this helps!
