how do i add more github jira automation actions?

when creating new rules in automation, i see in 'then add an action' only one github action under miscellaneous. how/can i add more actions? i would like to be able to execute github actions upon releasing of a version.

i already hooked up github with jira so i can already see commits and github action statuses.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

You cannot add new Actions to the Automation for Jira feature.

If the thing you want to do can be done via a web request then you can use the Send Web Request action to trigger some action in Github.
