how do I apply a category?

i'm unable to apply a category and a label to a task, why is this ? 

how simple could it be?

Hello @findmycrazy 

It's easy to mix these up. Space categories apply to the whole project (Space settings → Details → Category), not single tasks.

To categorize individual tasks, use the Category column in your List view instead. Labels are totally separate, you add those inside the task itself (or just hit "L"). If that field is missing, check under "Show more fields."
