filtering on Closed Initiatives seems to work differently than on Closed Epics.
In Jira portfolio I see that the filtering on Closed Initiatives seems to work differently than on Closed Epics.
I have an initiative where there are two stories that fall under a closed Epic and then under a closed Release. Both the Epic and the Release have been closed for longer than the limit in the Portfolio plan settings. I would expect the situation to arise that both the Epic and the Release are not visible OR that (because there are still underlying stories) neither are filtered out. In practice, however, it appears that the Epic is shown and the release is not. The query used is very basic "issuekey = <KEY> OR issuekey in childIssuesOf(<KEY>) " and the only filter in the plan settings is the default 30 days after close.
My question:
Besides the fact that 2 product owners have to be addressed about the fact that stories are open under a closed epic... is what happens here something that I can change in settings or is it really a deviation from what I should expect in the operation of the Plan.
In the example:
- both epics 'without parent' are closed for more than 30 days;
- the stories under the epics are stil open;
- the parent initiative of the epics is also closed for more than 30 days.
