filter on users

how do I create a board that includes many projects and only filters on specific users?  I have a master board but I only want to see what specific users that work on multiple projects are doing.

Use things like "<user field> in (list of users)"

You can do that on the board filter, but I suspect it might be more useful in quick-filters on the board, so you can have one board and toggle the display of sets of issues on and off.
