fields became empty after moving from one project to another project

Hi Team,

I have a jira ticket and has bunch of custom fields (90% are required fields only) in a project called ICE

tried moving it to another project called CPE

the screens are different and field configurations are different but both has some fields in common in field configurations

while moving the issue observed that we lost the data of fields in destination

I would like to know, is there any criteria for moving the issues between projects to retain same values after moving

Hi,
The fields you want to keep their data, need to be in the "view issue" screen of both projects.

The fields are marked required in the first project, should i need to make those required in the second project too in order to get the same values after moving ?
