estimates show up as 0m on board

I'm not sure what's going on. I have stories with subtasks on my board. All subtasks hold the original estimates. Most subtasks show up with time, but a few of them show 0m for the estimate. When I click on the subtask, I see the original estimate is there tho it doesn't show up on board. I'm using swimlanes based on epics.

Lastly, is there somewhere to see total remaining work for the sprint somewhere?

By total remaining work do you mean based on time estimates? If so, then on the Backlog screen you can see the time associated with not started, in progress, and done issues in the sprint if you configure the board to use time tracking for estimation. Refer to

Original estimate was placed for subtask: 1d. 

shows up on board as 0m

total time remaining for story does not take the 1d into account when calculating whole story's time remaining.






I was able to fix this by logging bogus time worked, and overwriting the blank remaining time back to 1d. For some reason when putting some original time estimates, it did not set the remaining time to the value.

i think for me also same issue 

i have added the remining time estimate field and time tracking field to my issue type. 
also my estimation methodology is story point.
