ean 13 barcode picture in email

I am in a Jira area and have implemented the automatic triggering of an email. There is a custom field that also outputs the correct result (text field to avoid dots and commas). The field can be seen in the first line. In the following, I try to generate the EAN 13 barcode as an image via 2 calls and embed it directly into the email, but this remains unsuccessful.

For me, the specifications look correct, but I am not successful here. I tried it with a QR code generator, which can create it without any problems. However, I do not want to use this version because I achieve a clear distinction at the cash registers between customer number and EAN, and the scanners respond accordingly.

What are the solutions for real-time creation of EAN13 barcodes?
