Jira cloud site, was set up without Google and Okta integration. Company was bought, and Jira site was integrated with new parent company's Google Login and Okta.
Now the old employees who have Jira accounts using the old company email address are seeing duplicate accounts using their new company email. This is inflating our license costs and causing confusion ("which Bob Jones account do I assign this ticket to?") These new accounts also are not added to all of the right groups, so they don't fully work--can't see some boards, can't modify tickets, etc.
Our best guess is that old users are sometimes:
Am I barking up the wrong tree?
Is there a setting anywhere I can flip to get "it" to stop doing that?
