display jira query results in a jira ticket field

In confluence, I can add a Jira macro to get a table of Jira entries in my confluence page. Is there a way to generate that same table of Jira entries in a specific Jira field?

Ex. Want to include list of Jira issues in a ticket used for release management

* Jira ticket/entry has a Description field

* in the Description field, want to add code/query/jql that returns a list of Jira issues

** list should be dynamic and loaded each time the Jira issue is loaded

interesting add-on, but not what i need for this instance. we have multiple projects in jira that we query for on specific field.  in confluence we can get a nice table of results using the jira macro. wanted the same data captured in a jira ticket.
