creating jira request from an incoming email

With project automation or incoming mail the following could be done and how.

I explain:

An email arrives with the subject National Holiday and a table with the National Holidays, this email arrives from different people, I want a petition to be created in Jira with the subject National Holiday, the table that has been provided in the email and as the informant the person who I send the mail. I have tried to do this from incoming mail but when the request is created in Jira the table is misconfigured. Is it possible to do it from project automation?

@Natalia Matamala The mail handler will need to handle the email being sent in.  The automation can be used but it would happen after the email handler has processed the email.  I am assuming that the table is in the body of the email.   I would suggest checking you configuration with the documentation here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/create-issues-and-comments-from-email/ 

It states in that document that It's expected that HTML/Rich Text formatting is not processed correctly by Jira. The email comment handler is designed to do plain text conversion.

My guess is that this is causing your issue.  I would suggest taking a look at Jira Service Management.   It has a different handler which will handle HTML.
