creating and assigning a screen to a transition

I'm trying to assign a screen to a transition. I have created the screen which just has a custom field called "Checks Done". When I then go into my workflow and select the transition I can't see "add screen" as the help suggests. Any ideas?

When you are in the workflow editor, and editing a transition, the option for showing a screen should show up under the "Request input" section, where you "Add request input rule":

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

What is the type of the project/space where the workflow is used? Get that info by clicking on the ... next to the project /spacename in the panel on the left. The type information is at the bottom of the pop-up and will say something like:

Software space
Team-managed

If it says Team-managed, screens in transitions are not yet supported for that type of project. They are supported in workflows used by Company-managed project/spaces only.
