Does jrjc support creating issues yet ? If not coould you drop few pointers as to ho do I do that using REST api?

Looking at the javadoc it seems not possible right now. However, you can easily create issues via the REST API without the JRJC following our documentation here: JIRA REST API Example - Create Issue
