I would like to color code the members of my team so that when we look at our boards, we can quickly see what is assigned and to who. I know you can search the cards to see which are assigned to a particular person, but this is an extra step. It seems to me there should be a way to do this, but I couldn't figure it out.
Hi Brooke, welcome to the Community. You can't "color-code" users. However, if they have recognizable avatars (e.g. as mine here) they will most certainly meet your goal. You can also consider using JQL to add a color bar to the cards based upon assignee but the number of colors are limited. Finally you can use the avatars or quick filters to filter the board by user.
