changing the mail subject lines

Hello team 

 

i administer multiple jira instance , users would like to change the email subject line .

How can i accomplish this with best practise ?

Have i change the global mail settings from all instances ?

I assume thst with "instance" you mean a jira project. Is this correct?

Yes the subject line can onlybe changed globally.

I see. Unfortunately I don't have much experience with that usecase but most likely you will want ro have on external smtp mail server for the notifications which are only accessed by the different instances. Then you most lijely can change a config file on this mailserver.
