changing from server to cloud

I'm just starting out and my JIRA licenses are for server instance and I'd like to change it to cloud. Please let me know how I can do that. Is it still the same price?

No, the pricing is very different.  See https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/pricing?tab=cloud

Contact https://support.atlassian.com if you switch part way through your server licence, they can help you move the licences over to Cloud.
