Hi all,

I don't know why I couldn't change m issue type on on specific project, and other thing is the issue won't disappear once I "done" the issue.  jira.PNGjira 2.PNG

Hey Ruby, as it says in the message you saw, you don't have any other issue types compatible workflows or field configs; you're likely using a specific workflow for Task issues and a different workflow for other issue types.

You can check this in the issue types section of the project scheme.

You can only edit the issue type in the way you describe if more than one issue type shares the same workflow! (and/or field config)

Hi @Ruby Lin,

As mentioned in the message, to change the issue type you have to use Move operation. Using Move operation only you can change Project or Issue type.

Hi,

thanks for helping. And yes, I used different way to change the issue type and it worked, but I just wonder why I can only move the issue instead of just change it by editing.
