To start a career as a Scrum Master and understand Jira, first learn the Scrum framework and Agile mindset using the official Scrum Guide from Scrum.org

Next, build hands-on Jira skills through the official training platform from Atlassian and follow their free structured learning paths:

As you learn, practice by creating your own Jira project and simulating Scrum activities like sprint planning, backlog management and daily standups. Once you understand the basics, get a Scrum certification to validate your knowledge of Scrum principles. (e.g., PSM I from Scrum.org) 

Optionally, you can strengthen your profile with Atlassian certifications:

• Start with Atlassian Certified Associate (ACA) (beginner Jira skills)
• Later progress to Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) (more advanced, experience-based)

Finally, focus on gaining practical experience (even small or simulated projects), since real-world application and communication skills are more important than certifications alone for landing a job.
