I would like about the bulk edit operation ;

who will be notified ? the watcher of issue will be notified about the bulk operation about the issue ?

Hi @Karim Belhadj ,

There some restrictions placed on the bulk operations. For example if you select multiple issues with different workflows, you can only transition them in groups with the same workflow and one group at a time. 

To perform bulk operations,  you will need appropriate project-specific permission and global bulk change permission. 

You would need to have both Move issue and Bulk change permission to perform Bulk move operation.

Bulk edit in issue navigator is powerful feature in Jira.This feature let's you modify the attributes of multiple issues simultaneously. There are  several cases to perform this action. 

There are restrictions placed on some of the 

For example, an employee has left the company, and someone else joined instead of him. Now there might be several issues assigned to him that are not yet closed in JIRA. These issues ideally assigned to new user. 

1.First you should filter the issues assigned to the old user by using basic or advanced search (JQL) 

2.From the top right corner, click on the tools button then under bulk change , 

Select all issues which were assigned to the old user and tick the issues you want to modify. 

3.You have the option either to select all the issues at once or select a few that you want to modify 

4.choose the first option is edit issues.

Not sure what you're asking. Do you want the water to be notified or asking IF the watcher will be notified? The issue is edited so anyone getting edit notifications would be notified. However, the bulk operation allows you to not notify people.

@Joe Pitt  i ask who the person who will be notified when we perform a bulk change ? the watcher of issue that we modified with bulk change will be notified ?

Whoever is in the notification scheme for update or edit will be notified. You need to look at the notification scheme. Watcher is probably there along with some others.
