Atlassian JIRA Project Management Software (v7.8.0#78000-sha1:4568b9d)
do you know jira built by which SCM , bitbucket ?
Hi Quan,
Could you please clarify what it is you're looking to do? It's a bit unclear from your description.
Regards,
Shannon
I am not looking to do anything, just wonder the information on the front page. As it must be generated by build script to present certain information related to build&release, is it from bitbucket , which is your own SCM, isn't it ?

Quan,
It's still a bit unclear what information you are requesting. Are you asking what do our developers use to build Jira, or are you curious what has generated the specific page you've linked to?
But yes, we do use our own software in order to develop Jira. Is there anything specific you needed to know about it?

Shannon

I want to know the build number , generated by bitbucket ? the one on the front page including version number and random number. As bitbucket is also your product, so I wonder jira is built by bitbucket, and bitbucket build information showing on jira software landing page.

very simple answer, actually, if you can find out, please.

Quan,
While we do use Bitbucket to develop Jira, the build number is randomly chosen by us.
Let me know if you have any questions about that.

Thank you . I assume build number shown in jira is from bitbucket as of your answer.
We can use it as an example if we use bitbucket for some application build.

Hi Quan,
The build number isn't from Bitbucket, as our team has chosen it randomly
