blocking clone from specific project (issues with new view)

hi,

i have a need to block the Jira cloning from a specific project.

i've found out that if i add in the WF properties (for every status) that string: jira.permission.create.clone.denied.

in the old view - this works good (it will throw some error when cloning which is good enough for me).

the problem is in the new view - this setting caused the "Create Sub Task" to not appear at all..which is a complete blocker.

Hi Ezra - Can you provide a screenshot of the issue where you can't see Create Sub-Task? I am not able to duplicate.

thanks for the reply. 

i have added several attachements:

1) the property i have added in the "Open" status in order to block clone

(by the way, i misspelled before, the property should be "jira.permission.createclone.denied" (sorry about that)

2) in the issue in "New" state, when i don't have the property, i can see the sub task option

3) once the issue is in "Open" - the Sub task option is gone.
