All of a sudden I am unable to login to Atlassian from Google Chrome.
it says "something went wrong while attempting to validate your credentials"
Works well in Incognito mode, Fire fox etc.
Steps taken.
1) Deleted history / cookies
2) reinstalled googe chrome.
still no go.
Please suggest some workarounds.
Google Chrome version - Version 76.0.3809.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Had the same issue.
I found the cause: I did not accept the cookies on the Bitbucket homepage and went straight to the login.
The solution: accept the cookies first, and continue to the login page
Are you signed in with an google account in your chrome browser?
Try to log out your google account from chrome and then try to login Jira.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
this worked..
however what is the workaround to get this working when logged in to Chrome.

I know that when your e-mail address for google is the same as the mail address for your jira account, this problem will occur. I do not have the solution or a work around. Or a workaround can be by using an other mail adres for one of the accounts.

Oke, My problem was that the e-mail address used for chrome was the same e-mail address for the Jira user (it does not has to be the account / login, it can be the e-mail adres registerd in Jira for the user)
Can you try logging with an other user in Jira?
