Hello,
When I set up a board, I create a filter that retrieves certain tickets from my project.
However, when I go to tabs other than the board, this filter does not apply, so I have to refilter my fields and values.
=> How can I make the other tabs use the filter and not retrieve the entire project?
I have to refilter the tabs each time. I know that filters can be added, but it is already in the board configuration!
How do you deal with this ?
Thanks !
For example, I want to have a table per component and per team, without necessarily using quick filters, to make it as simple as possible for certain teams.
In my board, I work on the workflow with certain statuses.
But if I want to retrieve all tickets assigned to this component/team, in the list view or the “all tickets” view, I have to reapply the filter choices.
So yes, I can add my filter now, but I find that this is a workaround because it is already in my table configuration...
For our users, this is really complicated to integrate. Not very user friendly.
Thank you all.
Olivier
Why not have your users set the filters the way they need them and then bookmark the page?

I think that does indeed seem to be the simplest solution: prepare the filters and add them either to the “shortcuts” tab or to their browser.
While training them, of course :-)
Thank you :-)

I think eveyone is nibbling around the edges without enough detail (as am I) ... but I will add to the conversation (I hope):
If this doesn't help -- perhaps you can provide some more specifics. Thanks

Hello @Olivier GIRAULT ,
Good day! Welcome to Atlassian Community :)
A board filter applies only to the board view i.e Backlog, Active Sprint board, Kanban board.
Other tabs such as List view, Timeline have their own set of filters which you can configure on that same tab window itself such as Quick filter, Status category, Group etc.
Thank you

Hi Olivier,
Tabs on a screen are associated with the screen, not the board. And are not affected by the filter used by any board.
What exactly are you trying to do?

What tabs, as board is based on single filter?
This fields provides what work items are on the board.
You can configure the board with quick filters to be albe to show certain work items based on the work items that are on the board.

Hello @Olivier GIRAULT
To which other tabs do you go? What type of filter you have created - is it a regular or the quick filter,JQL filter for swimlanes (if this is a company-managed project)?
