alternative for atlassian cloud migration

What are the alternatives for projects who cannot migrate to Atlassian Cloud due to security restrictions?

Hi @Asha and welcome to the community!

If you want to stay within the Atlassian ecosystem there are two possible solutions "Government cloud" or "Isolated cloud" where you have your isolated part of AWS. I am not sure that that fulfills your requirements regarding security, but that is was is available right now.

If you are thinking of replacing Atlassian with something else i don't have any good suggestions but I bet other Community members can propose alternatives.

I am sorry that I cant give you a better answer but I think this is a burning question for many DataCenter users.

What are the security restrictions, you can set a permission scheme based on groups instead of space roles.

This will make the access section in the space permissions useless, as a prject manager adding users or groups to roles, won't have any effect.

Use an Work Item security scheme, and create an automation rule that a security level is set on each issue created in the project, add only the relevant user groups or users to the security level
