adding gadget to dashboard to show sum total and change of story points

hi, I want to add a gadget to my dashboard.

this gadet should track the story points by time. it should show both the total and increase/decrease in story points for a project, by time (for e.g. weekly). how can i do this without using any plugins? thanks!

Not sure if this is possible without a plugin. 

But if you consider installing plugin, with our Great Gadgets app you can see the sum of story points in time, with various charts:

• Cumulative Flow Diagram - at the project level; no sprints needed, the data can be grouped by weeks

• Release Burndown Chart - at the project level; no sprints needed, the data can be grouped by weeks

• Sprint Burndown Chart - at the sprint level

The Team Velocity gadget also allows you see to see the number of story points added / removed but at the sprint level.
