Hi, we own a software product (companyA) and work closely with a software dev company (companyB).  CompanyB is much larger than us and already has Jira-cloud accounts for all their employees.

We (companyA) have setup our own Jira-cloud system and added some employees from companyB to work with us.  The way its setup, companyB users are now users of companyA's account.  It seems we are paying for those users twice.

Are we doing something wrong?  Should we be able to add paying Jira users from another company into our Jira projects without paying for them a second time?

thanks, Jon

Hello,

You have two Jira Cloud instances and your users use both of them, that is why you pay for them twice. The only way not to pay twice is to migrate data from one Jira Cloud instance to the other and turn off one of the instances.
