Xray: reports not generating

Desislava Stoyanova November 11, 2020

Hello,

I integrated Xray in my next-gen project but don't seem to find how to enable the Xray built-in reports.

I don't see anything in the projects' Reports section, neither find a way to generate reports.

Hi @Desislava Stoyanova ,

have you followed these instructions: https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAYCLOUD/Quick+Setup#QuickSetup-Next-GenProjects  ?

After you have the issue types configured and the test coverage configured, you should be able to see them.

Regards,

Sérgio

Hello, @Sergio Freire - Xblend

Thank you for the quick response.

I did configure those, however, don't see any additional reports except for the Jira built-in ones.

I do see some reports here, however not really understoodable. I don't see any bug report, though?Screenshot 2020-11-11 at 23.24.52.pngScreenshot 2020-11-11 at 23.26.17.png

Hi @Desislava Stoyanova ,

These are the reporting mechanisms that Xray provides, which include reports, gadgets and more.

Well, I don't know exactly what you mean and want to achieve exactly with the "bug report" you were looking for.

If you aim to build a report based on bugs, you can use for example Jira standard gadgets for that in order to list, for example, Bug issues. You can also see that in the built-in Traceability Report or in the Test Plans Metrics report, for example.

Hope this helps.

Sérgio
