I would like to ask whether Xray add-on will normally work with expired regular license. We are in process of purchasing next license, but the expiration date will come sooner than we will have a new license.
I didn´t find this kind of information in Xray documentation, so I hope you will help me.

Since you bought an Xray license for your Jira instance, even if the license has expired you can continue using Xray add-on as you did before, because your license is "perpetual".
But please remember the following:

we have a very similar question - our license is due to expire at the end of the year, but we do not intend to make use of the Xray features before mid of next year.
Based on your answer to Lucia's question, our understanding is that Xray along with all of its test cases/sets/attachments etc can be used without any restrictions, and that an extension of the license is only required when support or an upgrade is needed?
In other words: once the license expires, there won't be any consequences with respect to access/storage/maintenance of data/test-cases/test-sets within Xray/JIRA?

Yes, once the license expires, none of your Xray configurations will be lost. And yes, you'll lose your support and update rights.

Just wanted to confirm again, is it still true that aside from losing upgrade and support capabilities, Xray will continue to operate without restrictions after the license expires?

You are correct except for the last point.
You will be able to use Xray and create new issues, reports, etc. what you can't use is the Xray Mobile App and the Xray Exploratory App.
